糯米含有蛋白質、脂肪、糖類、鈣、磷、鐵、維生素B1、維生素B2、煙酸及澱粉等營養豐富,是溫補強身食品,具有補中益氣(補脾氣益肺氣)、健脾養胃、止虛汗之功效。對食慾不佳、腹脹腹瀉有一定緩解作用。糯米有收澀作用,對尿頻自汗有較好的食療效果。用糯米做的各種好加熱後食用 糯米性粘滯難以消化,不宜一次食用過多,老人、小孩或病人更要慎食。
